DETAILED ITINERARY

 

DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL

Hanoi blends ancient heritage, colonial architecture and vibrant street life, offering the perfect introduction to Vietnam.

Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport and meet your guide for the transfer to your hotel.

Later, enjoy a gentle walk around Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter. Stop at a local café to taste Hanoi's famous Egg Coffee.

In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner featuring Northern Vietnamese cuisine.

DAY 2: HANOI HERITAGE AND STREET FOOD

Discover Hanoi's history, culture and famous local cuisine.

Later, experience the Old Quarter by traditional cyclo and enjoy a Water Puppet performance.

DAY 3: HANOI - HA GIANG

Ha Giang marks the beginning of Vietnam's spectacular northern highlands.

Stop along the way for lunch and scenic photography before arriving in Ha Giang in the late afternoon.

Enjoy a relaxed evening and prepare for the mountain journey ahead.

DAY 4: HA GIANG LOOP - MA PI LENG PASS

The Ha Giang region offers some of the most dramatic mountain scenery in Vietnam.

Travel through Quan Ba Heaven Gate and the Dong Van Karst Plateau, passing limestone peaks, deep valleys and ethnic minority villages.

Continue across the spectacular Ma Pi Leng Pass overlooking the Nho Que River.

An optional boat trip on the Nho Que River can be arranged, depending on conditions.

DAY 5: HA GIANG - BA BE NATIONAL PARK

DAY 7: HANOI - HALONG BAY CRUISE

Travel to Halong Bay and board your premium overnight cruise.

Enjoy lunch while sailing through the bay, followed by activities such as kayaking, cave exploration or swimming.

Relax on deck during sunset before enjoying dinner onboard.

DAY 8: HALONG BAY - PHONG NHA

Transfer to Hanoi Airport for your flight to Dong Hoi and continue to Phong Nha.

DAY 9: PHONG NHA CAVE ADVENTURE

Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park is renowned for its vast caves, limestone mountains and tropical forests.
