Visa Information

Visa requirements vary depending on the traveler’s nationality, passport type, destination, length of stay and purpose of travel. We recommend checking the latest entry requirements before departure and ensuring that your passport has sufficient validity for your entire journey.

Asia Value Travel can provide general guidance to help our guests and travel partners prepare for their journey. However, final visa approval and permission to enter a country remain entirely at the discretion of the relevant immigration authorities.

CAMBODIA

Many international visitors require a visa to enter Cambodia. Depending on nationality, travelers may be eligible for a Cambodia e-Visa, visa on arrival or visa exemption.

Cambodia’s official tourist e-Visa (Visa T) is currently a single-entry visa, valid for three months from the date of issue and permitting a stay of up to one month. The official processing time is approximately three business days. Applicants generally need a passport with more than six months' validity remaining at entry, a recent digital passport photograph and an accepted payment card.

Travelers should also check which border crossings accept e-Visas, particularly when travelling overland between Cambodia and neighboring countries.

Cambodia currently requires travelers to complete the Cambodia e-Arrival process, and the official e-Visa site recommends submitting it online within seven days before arrival.

VIETNAM

Visa requirements for Vietnam depend on nationality and length of stay. Some nationalities qualify for visa-free entry, while other travelers need a visa before arrival.

Vietnam operates an official electronic visa (e-Visa) system. The current e-Visa can be issued for a maximum period of 90 days, with either single or multiple entry. The official government portal currently lists a fee of USD 25 for single entry and USD 50 for multiple entry.

Applicants are required to provide passport information, a passport data-page image, a recent portrait photograph and details of their intended journey. Travelers must use an approved international entry and exit point for the e-Visa.

LAOS

Travelers to Laos should check whether their nationality qualifies for visa-free entry, visa on arrival or an e-Visa.

The official Lao e-Visa system currently provides an online Tourist Visa application for eligible nationalities. Travelers using an e-Visa must enter through one of the designated international entry points.

For the Lao e-Visa, the passport must have at least six months' validity from the date of arrival. Applicants need to provide personal and travel information, a photograph and a copy of the passport bio page.

PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS

As a general travel precaution, we recommend that travelers:

  • Carry a passport with at least six months' validity beyond the intended arrival date where required.
  • Check that the passport has sufficient blank pages.
  • Ensure the name on flight bookings and visa applications exactly matches the passport.
  • Travel using the same passport used for the e-Visa application.
  • Keep digital and printed copies of important travel documents.
  • Check visa and entry requirements again shortly before departure.
MULTI-COUNTRY TOURS

Guests travelling on an Asia Value Travel Cambodia–Vietnam–Laos multi-country itinerary should check the visa requirements for each country separately.

Particular attention should be given to the number of entries required. For example, an itinerary that leaves a country and later returns may require a multiple-entry visa or a new visa, depending on the traveler's nationality and applicable regulations.
