Arrive at Yangon International Airport, meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel.
After time to relax, head out in the late afternoon for a gentle introduction to the city.
Visit magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda around sunset, when the golden stupa glows above the city and local worshippers gather for evening prayers.

DAY 2 – YANGON NATURE & LOCAL DISCOVERY
Description: Explore the greener side of Yangon while discovering local life, birdlife and Myanmar’s natural environment.
After breakfast, travel beyond central Yangon for a nature-focused introduction to Myanmar.
Enjoy gentle walking and birdwatching while learning about the country’s native plants, wetland environments and wildlife.
Return to Yangon and spend the afternoon exploring local neighbourhoods and markets.

DAY 3 – YANGON TO BAGAN
Description: Fly to legendary Bagan and begin exploring an extraordinary landscape of ancient temples and dry-zone wilderness.
Transfer to the airport for your flight to the Bagan region, subject to current operations.
Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel before heading into the spectacular Bagan Archaeological Zone.
Explore selected temples and ancient monuments while learning about the powerful kingdom that once flourished here.
Later, venture through the plains by bicycle or e-bike where locally permitted, passing temples, rural tracks and small villages.

DAY 4 – BAGAN ADVENTURE & RURAL TRAILS
Description: Leave the main routes behind and explore Bagan’s ancient landscape through rural trails, villages and hidden temples.

Explore quieter sections of Bagan on foot or by bicycle, travelling between ancient monuments and rural communities.
Visit traditional villages and meet local artisans to discover livelihoods that have existed alongside Bagan’s temples for generations.
After a break during the warmer afternoon hours, head out again to explore another section of the archaeological landscape.

DAY 5 – MOUNT POPA NATURE ADVENTURE
Description: Journey from Bagan’s dry plains to the forested landscapes of Mount Popa for hiking, wildlife and volcanic scenery.
Travel from Bagan toward Mount Popa, an extinct volcanic area rising dramatically above central Myanmar.
Explore the greener landscapes around Popa and enjoy a nature walk through the forest.
